  1. I have heard that quote before, and I love it! Where did you find it?

  2. I do not remember where I read this. This entry has been sitting in my “drafts” folder for this blog for a long while. I think I was going to use it as a lead-in to a post about Nate but decided it should just be published as is already. :)

  3. I saw this page when researching this quote for a friend:

The quote is slightly different, it’s “I love these little people; and it is not a slight thing when they, who are so fresh from God, love us.”

Looks like it is from Dickens’s novel The Old Curiosity Shop (1841), and he has the narrator say it after talking to a little kid.

Here is the page from Google Books if you want to read it in context:

  4. Yes, an extra comma was able to sneak in there. Thanks for the correction.
